Fruit juices and anti-aging

Fruit is a nutritious food that contributes to body fluids, vitamins, antioxidants, minerals, enzymes and fiber.
Pomegranate, Papaya and Cranberry juice help to moisturize, cleanse and give vitality to one’s body.
Fresh juices are generally low in fat, cholesterol and calories. Coconut water is an exception as it is a source of saturated fat.
Fruit juices contain bioactive substances beneficial for the heart, vision, kidneys and intestinal transit, in addition it also provides energy to muscles.
American cranberry or Vaccinium macrocarpon or Cranberry has a high content of antioxidants and proanthocyanidin both of which have anti-aging effects. They also have a high content of Hippuric acid thus making this fruit useful for urinary, kidney and bladder infections. Hippuric acid prevents certain bacteria such as Eschericia coli from adhering to the urinary tract.
The Pomegranate or Punica granatum is a “super fruit” with high content of vitamin A, B and C, potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, calcium, sodium and fiber. Pomegranate pulp has an astringent and cleansing effect and thus helps to cleanse the body. It provides 65 calories per 100 grams and promotes digestion and protects the cardiovascular system and prostate. The effect on the prostate comes through antioxidants such as anthocyanin and high levels of polyphenols. A glass a day is a help in prostate cancer because it slows down the growth and reduces the increase of PSA in the blood.
Papaya juice has a high content of papain and other proteolytic enzymes which neutralize the excess acidity of the stomach. The high content of fibers is of considerable help to the intestinal transit. The immunomodulatory and antioxidant action of papaya is also very strong.
